Crossway Church, formerly Atlantic Shores Baptist Church, is starting a new preschool in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with the goal of opening in the fall of 2025. With your child in mind, we have renovated our facilities at 1861 Kempsville Road (corner of Kempsville Road and Centerville Turnpike). Our fabulous facilities, loving teachers, and commitment to Christian education combine to help your preschool child thrive.
Who We Are
Crossway Preschool is part of the ministry of Crossway Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. At Crossway Church, our goal is to “glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who go and make disciples.” Crossway Preschool extends this mission by offering a Christian preschool education. Our aim is to nurture the whole child—mind, body, heart, and soul—preparing them for their educational journey and life ahead.

Philosophy and Beliefs
As part of the Crossway Church family, Crossway Preschool is dedicated to providing a warm and loving Christian environment for young learners. We offer high-quality, age-appropriate education for children aged 3 and 4, focusing on nurturing each child's unique strengths and abilities. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning, help children grow with confidence and independence, and lay a strong foundation for their future.
Programs and Curriculum
At Crossway Preschool, we use the Abeka curriculum, designed to provide a strong academic foundation while preparing your child for their future education. Abeka supports your child's cognitive, emotional, and spiritual growth by integrating various subjects and turning playtime into meaningful learning experiences, all within a nurturing Christian environment. We offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day preschool programming for children 3 and 4 years old.

Tours
Newly renovated Crossway Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is the beautiful home of Crossway Preschool. Parents who enroll their kids in Crossway Preschool want the best for their child, and they can rest assured their child is learning and cared for in a clean, safe, secure, and nurturing environment. We plan to offer in-person tours in February 2025 or earlier. Be the first to know when we start scheduling tours by filling out the form at the bottom of this page. Also, check back around the same timeframe for a virtual tour of our facilities.
