Understanding the Jewishness of the New Testament
Do you ever wish you could travel back in time and hear the words of Jesus as the Jews did in their native language and culture? Professor David Sedaca, a Messianic Jewish Rabbi and Vice President of Chosen People Ministries, teaches a 7-week study called Understanding the Jewishness of the New Testament. This discipleship course will enrich your understanding of the Bible and the words taught by Rabbi Jesus.
Professor Sedaca says, “The New Testament forms the foundation of Christian doctrine, containing profound insights into the faith and life of early Christian communities. Yet, the Jewish cultural, religious, and literary contexts that shaped its authors are often overlooked. This course examines the significant Jewish influences that underpin New Testament writings, exploring how these texts reflect the beliefs, practices, and interpretive traditions of the early Jewish followers of Jesus.”
